Hello Everyone!

I am very excited to share with you the history of my career. I plan on adding LOTS of trivia and answering your questions. I did not realize there was so much content around until my fans made me aware, and thanks to the Internet, this is now possible.

When I was on the “Make Room for Daddy Show,” i.e. “The Danny Thomas Show,” I received bags and bags of fan mail.  Besides working, attending school, and studying my lines, on Saturdays I spent all day personalizing my answers to each letter and posting them. Because that left little time for anything else, I became resentful….Eventually, we hired a teenage girl to help me for it became overwhelming. Now that I am MUCH older, I realize how important it is to appreciate my fans and am going to make up for lost time!!! I loved my fans but my very strict mother made things a “have” to,  not a “want” to. Now I really WANT to!!!! So I am looking forward to this adventure and want this site to be fun and interesting and at times funny . So feel free to ask away…..

Sincerely, (that was my closing on my early fan letters but I misspelled “Sincerly” for many early autographs) lol…Now I prefer “Health, Love and Light. ” Maturation is enlightening…

    Hi Ms. Jackson,

I have been watching “Trouble Along the Way” recently with my son as I have always been a fan of the Duke. I have to say though that you steal this movie. We get such a kick out of your deadpan delivery and so many of your lines. Thank you for adding some happiness into our lives. There is nothing like watching a movie you enjoy on a cool fall evening.
I hope to enjoy some more of your work.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. This Saturday night on ME-TV, Sherry’s classic performance as Andrea on Star Trek will be shown at 9 p.m. The goddess at her absolute best! Enjoy.

Hello, I enjoy watching the movies on the TCM channel because the dialouge and acting, etc seem so much better than most of the movies being made nowaday. Just watched, Trouble Along the Way, and was hoping you had a website to say thank-you!!! I thought your performance was awesome! I read a movie bio and saw you did the movie on the Lady of Fatima and I remember seeing that movie when I was a child and remember enyoying your performance in that movie, too. Then I read you had an appearance in Star Trek and wow, didn’t you grow up to be super gorgeous and sexy!! Takes my breath away, really!! Hope you are well and happy. Much love and respect, Dave

    Hi Sherry,
I was a very close friend of Robert’s in the late 70’s. One weekend, he and your mother and I went to clean out the house in Idylwyld. I kept a gray tweed jacket of yours your mother was going to give/throw away. It doesn’t fit me anymore; it is about a size 5. Do you sell things of yours for charity, or would you like to have it back for any other reason?
    -Clare Swift

    1. sherryjackson

      Dear Clare,

Thank you for keeping the jacket but I don’t think I would fit in it lol. I would love to talk to you about Robert. I miss him soooo. Could you email me your phone number here at the site and we can share old memories…

I really would love to talk with you!!!

      Love and Light,

Sherry’s 1953 movie (with John Wayne), “Trouble Along the Way,” will be on Turner Classic Movies (TMC) Sunday night (11/6) starting at 6 PM. In the movie, both the Duke and Sherry utter the classic line, “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing,” years before Hall of Fame football coach Vince Lombardi later made the quote famous.

Next Monday and Tuesday on YouToo TV (formerly ALN), they’ll be showing Sherry’s appearance on Batman. If you watch, you should have plenty of patience and be aware of this caveat: each half-hour is stretched out to an hour (with frequent interruptions), since the network is more interested hyping its social media component than simply showing the episode.

That said, any appearance of Sherry is worth watching, so you have the option of watching at either 1 PM, 4 PM or 11 PM on those days.

Hello Sherry from the Lone Star state (Texas).

I discovered you when I was 11 yrs old while watching the Incredible Hulk series episode “Earthquakes Happen” (1978). I always wanted to know who that pretty lady was. As an adult (now 40!!) I bought the series on DVD and looked you up on IMDB. Now I know who that pretty lady was. What a dish!

Now I have since seen you in several things you starred in before and after. You would have made a great model.

    Hello Sherry,
I thought that you might enjoy hearing this story, When I was about 5-6 years old, I was watching Star Trek with my parents, It was the episode that you were in as an android. I think I robbed my poor mother of a couple of years! At the end of the show I stood up and causually announced that “as soon as I had a few birthdays and get caught up to the that lady in Star Trek, She is going to be the woman that I marry!” I was convinced that you would be my wife as soon as I grew up! My poor mother was shocked as I had no prior interest in females at all yet. To her credit though, she had me convinced that if I didn’t use ALL my manners and treat woman like ladies with the utmost respect, That you probably would not marry me, when you could get a guy who did treat women right. So, I went through life treating women far better than all my friends, At first so that you would not be disapointed when I came calling, Then later, (I got old enough to know that I would not “catch up” birthday wise. Also that I could not just look you up in the phone book then drive across town and ask for a date! (some parts of growing up sucked!) I was already “used to treating women with the royal treatment,” And starting to notice that It was paying off! In fact I was always dating “older, good looking women, while all my friends were still dateless!” So , I thought that I should take the time to thank you! Although you never married me, It was directly because of you that I was enjoying the company of women, while other guy’s couldn’t get to first base! Thank You! And one more thing, I still think that you are the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen! And even though I was too young at the time, I still would have gladly married you! If only you had a thing for younger guy’s! And lived nearby, Forgive me if I sound forward, But seriously, with great respect, If you ever find yourself on vacation in SIskiyou County, (Yeah it’s California!) Please don’t hesitate to give me a call, I’d love to get a chance to talk with you, and of course show you all the best spots, that people who come here for vacations, don’t know haw to find!
Serious, you are always welcome here, I am sure you’d have a blast!
    Sincerly, Ray F. Potter

I can’t get over that pic of you dressed as a nun! I attended parochial school from Kindergarten through Undergraduate School and never ran into a nun that looked like you. :)

I enjoy your website… keep the cool stuff coming!

Hi, Sherry. When I was little, I saw “Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima.” Jacinta Marto is one of my very favorite people, and she and her brother were recently beatified. I liked seeing Jacinta in the movie. I thought that she and her brother and cousin were very brave, even when they were threatened to be boiled in oil. You were very good playing Jacinta, and were very cute. A lot of kids were very impressed by the movie, and they sell it now in Catholic bookstores and websites.

I didn’t even know I’d be telling you this, but it was nice. Well, goodby, and thanks.
